2.2.2 Installing the CPU heatsink and airduct To install the CPU heatsink: 1. Locate the two screw stands beside the CPU socket. 2. Place the heatsink on top of the installed CPU, ensuring that the two fasteners match the screw stands on the motherboard. 3. Twist each of the two screws with a Philips (cross) screwdriver just enough to attach the heatsink to the motherboard. When the two screws are attached, tighten them one by one to completely secure the heatsink. To install the airduct: 1. Position the airduct on top of the heatsink. 2. Installing the CPU heatsink and airduct
To install the CPU heatsink:
1.
Locate the two screw stands beside
the CPU socket.
2.
Carefully lower the airduct until it
fits in place.
To install the airduct:
1.
Position the airduct on top of the
heatsink.
2.
Place the heatsink on top of the
installed CPU, ensuring that the
two fasteners match the screw
stands on the motherboard.
3.
Twist each of the two screws with
a Philips (cross) screwdriver just
enough to attach the heatsink to
the motherboard.
When the two screws are attached,
tighten them one by one to
completely secure the heatsink.
