Chapter 10 Getting Connected You can set up connections to the Internet and corporate network at work to do such activities as browsing the Internet or intranet, sending and receiving emails and instant messages, and synchronize information using ActiveSync. With an active connection, you can browse the web, download e-mails, chat using MSN Messenger, or synchronize wirelessly with the server. Check with your Internet Service Provider to see if a connection has already been set up for you. 10-1Auto Configuration This feature automatically adjusts the network settings of your Smartphone based on your mobile service operator and location. 10-2Wireless Manager The Wireless Manager allows you to enable or disable your wireless connections in a single location. This is a quick way to preserve battery power or to prepare your device for an airplane flight.
