Legacy USB Support [Enabled] Allows you to enable or disable the support for legacy USB devices. Setting to [Auto] allows the system to detect the presence of USB devices at startup. If detected, the USB controller legacy mode is enabled. If no USB device is detected, the legacy USB support is disabled. Configuration options: [Disabled] [Enabled] [Auto] USB3.0 Support [Enabled] Enables or disables the USB3.0 (XHCI) controller support. Configuration options: [Disabled] [Enabled] XHCI Hand-off [Enabled] This functions as a workaround for OSes without XHCI hand-off support. Configuration options: [Disabled] [Enabled] EHCI Hand-off [Enabled] This functions as a workaround for OSes without EHCI hand-off support. Configuration options: [Disabled] [Enabled] USB Mass Storage Driver Support [Enabled] This allows you to enable or disable the USB Mass Storage driver support. Configuration options: [Disabled] [Enabled] Port 60/64 Emulation [Enabled] This allows you to enable the I/O port 60h/64h emulation support. This should be enabled for the complete USB keyboard legacy support for non-USB aware OSes. Configuration options: [Disabled] [Enabled] USB transfer time-out [20 sec] Allows you to select the USB transfer time-out value. Configuration options: [1 sec] [5 sec] [10 sec] [20 sec] Device reset time-out [20 sec] Allows you to select the USB device reset time-out value. Configuration options: [10 sec] [20 sec] [30 sec] [40 sec] Device power-up delay [Auto] This allows you to set the maximum time the device will take before it properly reports itself to the Host Controller. Configuration options: [Auto] [Manual] When Device power-up delay is set to [Manual], use the and keys to adjust the values. Chapter 4: BIOS setup

Legacy USB Support [Enabled]

Allows you to enable or disable the support for legacy USB devices. Setting to [Auto] allows

the system to detect the presence of USB devices at startup. If detected, the USB controller

legacy mode is enabled. If no USB device is detected, the legacy USB support is disabled.

Enables or disables the USB3.0 (XHCI) controller support. Conﬁguration options: [Disabled]

This allows you to enable the I/O port 60h/64h emulation support. This should be enabled for

the complete USB keyboard legacy support for non-USB aware OSes. Conﬁguration options:

USB transfer time-out [20 sec]

Allows you to select the USB transfer time-out value. Conﬁguration options: [1 sec] [5 sec]

Device power-up delay [Auto]
