4. NetWare Driver Installation 4. NetWare Driver Installation The ASUS PCI-DA2000 Series drivers diskette contains the following driver files for NetWare v3.1x, v4.0x and v4.1 respectively: In sub-directory netware\v3_1x: -ASUSASP.DSK:ASPI manager for NetWare v3.1x -DA2000.DDI: Installation Information File. -DA2000.DSK: Disk Driver for NetWare v3.1x In sub-directory netware\v4_x: -ASUSASP.DSK:ASPI manager for Netware v4.0x and v4.1 -DA2000.DDI: Installation Information File. -DA2000.DSK: Disk Driver for NetWare v4.0x and v4.1. 4.1. Installing NetWare v3.1x Follow these procedures to install ASUS PCI-DA2000 drivers for Netware v3.11 or v3.12. 1 Use ASUS PCI-DA2000 Series BIOS Configuration Utility to disable ISA Mail- box Emulation mode (default is disabled). To do this, at system bootup, press [Ctrl-I], select Configure Card option, then change IO Port Address to DISABLED. 2 Use ASUS Text RAID Manager or RS-232 Terminal Interface Operation to configure Logical Drives and SCSI Devices and map them to valid SCSI-IDs/LUNs. Note that SCSI ID 7 is reserved for the ASUS PCI-DA2000 Series adapter and thus no logical drives or devices should be mapped to this SCSI ID. 3 Plug one or up to four ASUS PCI-DA2000's Series into host PCI slots then power on. ASUS PCI-DA2000 Series BIOS will show the following messages on the screen for each installed ASUS PCI-DA2000 Series: ASUS PCI-DA2000 Series (PCI-TO-SCSI RAID) BIOS v1.11 PCI Bus # = 00 Device # = 0A Port = E800 IRQ = 11 EDORAM = 4MB FW=v1.12 !! Press for Configuration Utility, to Skip !! 4 Make sure the RAID configuration is properly set. (Refer to section 4 Text RAID Manager and RS-232 Terminal Interface Operation). 4.1.
Installing NetWare v3.1x
Follow these procedures to install ASUS PCI-DA2000 drivers for Netware v3.11 or
v3.12.

Use ASUS PCI-DA2000 Series BIOS Configuration Utility to disable ISA Mail-
box Emulation mode (default is
disabled
).
To do this, at system bootup, press
[Ctrl-I]
, select Configure Card option, then change IO Port Address to DIS-
ABLED.

Use ASUS Text RAID Manager or RS-232 Terminal Interface Operation to con-
figure Logical Drives and SCSI Devices and map them to valid SCSI-IDs/LUNs.
Note that SCSI ID 7 is reserved for the ASUS PCI-DA2000 Series adapter
and thus no logical drives or devices should be mapped to this SCSI ID
