7.9 USB Configuration The items in this menu display and allow you to change the USB-related features. Legacy USB Support Configuration options: [Enabled] [Disabled] [Auto] [Enabled] Enables the Legacy USB support. [Disabled] USB devices are available only for EFI applications. [Auto] Your system automatically detects the presence of USB devices at startup. If any USB devices are detected, the Legacy USB support is enabled. XHCI Hand-off This is a workaround for OSes without XHCI hand-off support. The XHCI ownership change should be claimed by XHCI driver. Configuration options: [Enabled] [Disabled] The following item appears only when you have mass storage device(s) installed on your motherboard and will be inaccessible if you set Legacy USB Support to [Disabled]. Mass Storage Devices: Generic-SD/MMC Allows you to set the emulation types of the mass storage devices you installed on your motherboard. [Auto] emulates devices according to their media format. Optical drives are emulated as CDROM, drives with no media will be emulated according to the drive type. Configuration options: [Auto] [Floppy] [Forced FDD] [Hard Disk] [CD-ROM] USB Single Port Control Allows you to enable or disable the corresponding USB port from reporting a Device Connection to the controller. Legacy USB Support
Configuration options: [Enabled] [Disabled] [Auto]
[Enabled]
Enables the Legacy USB support.
[Disabled]
USB devices are available only for EFI applications.
[Auto]
