7. System fan connectors (4-pin FAN1-8) The fan connectors support cooling fans of 0.8A-1.0A (12 W max.) or a total of 6.4 A-8.0 A (96 W max.) at +12V. Connect the fan cables to the fan connectors on the motherboard, making sure that the black wire of each cable matches the ground pin of the connector. DO NOT forget to connect the fan cables to the fan connectors. Insufficient air flow inside the system may damage the motherboard components. These are not jumpers! DO NOT place jumper caps on the fan connectors! 8. TPM connector (20-1 pin TPM1) This connector supports a Trusted Platform Module (TPM) system, which can securely store keys, digital certificates, passwords, and data. System fan connectors (4-pin FAN1-8)

The fan connectors support cooling fans of 0.8A–1.0A (12 W max.) or a total of 6.4

A–8.0 A (96 W max.) at +12V. Connect the fan cables to the fan connectors on the

motherboard, making sure that the black wire of each cable matches the ground pin of

the connector.

DO NOT forget to connect the fan cables to the fan connectors. Insufﬁcient air ﬂow inside

the system may damage the motherboard components. These are not jumpers! DO NOT

place jumper caps on the fan connectors!

TPM connector (20-1 pin TPM1)

This connector supports a Trusted Platform Module (TPM) system, which can securely

store keys, digital certiﬁcates, passwords, and data. A TPM system also helps enhance

network security, protects digital identities, and ensures platform integrity.
