Upgrading memory modules Your VivoPC comes with two SO-DIMM memory slots that allows you to install two 2 GB, 4 GB, or 8GB unbuffered with non-ECC DDR3 SO-DIMMs (204 pin), for a maximum of 16 GB memory. IMPORTANT: • For optimum performance, install identical DDR3 (SO-DIMM) modules only. • Always install SO-DIMMs with the same CAS latency. NOTE: Your VivoPC comes with one (1) pre-installed DDR3 (SODIMM) module. To install or upgrade the memory modules: 1. Turn off your VivoPC. 2. Disconnect all cables and peripherals. 3. Place the VivoPC on a stable and flat surface. 4. Press down latch at the rear panel to release the top cover. VivoPC VM40B 33

Upgrading memory modules
Your VivoPC comes with two SO-DIMM memory slots that allows
you to install two 2 GB, 4 GB, or 8GB unbuffered with non-ECC DDR3
SO-DIMMs (204 pin), for a maximum of 16 GB memory.
IMPORTANT:
For optimum performance, install identical DDR3 (SO-DIMM)
modules only.
Always install SO-DIMMs with the same CAS latency.
NOTE:
Your VivoPC comes with one (1) pre-installed DDR3 (SO-
DIMM) module.
To install or upgrade the memory modules:
1.
Turn off your VivoPC.
2.
Disconnect all cables and peripherals.
3.
Place the VivoPC on a stable and flat surface.
4.
Press down latch at the rear panel to release the top cover.
