Restore Defaults In Restore Defaults, there are two options: • Restore Settings: This erases all personal settings on your XMp3i and restores the factory defaults, but does not delete your recorded or downloaded content. Personal settings include TuneSelects, Favorite Channels, Scheduled Recordings, and Info Extras. • Restore and Erase: This option erases all personal settings, XM recordings, and stored content. Use this with caution as you will not be able to retrieve stored content once it has been erased. To Restore Settings 1 Press menu. 2 Turn the Control Wheel to highlight Settings and press Select. 3 Turn the Control Wheel to highlight Restore Defaults and press Select. 4 Turn the Control Wheel to highlight Restore Settings and press Select. 5 Turn the Control Wheel to highlight Yes and press Select. To Restore and Erase 1 Press menu. 2 Turn the Control Wheel to highlight Settings and press Select. 97
