Power supply cord is not supplied, but is available through your local electric supply house. • Use only 3-conductor or 4-conductor UL listed range cord rated at 40 amps with 125/250V minimum voltage range. These cords may be provided with strain relief or conduit connector. • The range must be connected to the proper electrical voltage and frequency as specified on the rating label. • The range can be connected directly to the fused disconnect (or circuit breaker box) through flexible, armoured or non-metallic sheathed, copper cable (with grounding wire). Allow two to three feet of slack in the line so that it can be moved if servicing is ever necessary. • For personal safety, the range must be properly grounded. • Remove house fuse or open circuit breaker before beginning installation. • Do not attempt to repair or replace any part of the appliance unless it is specifically recommended in this manual. All other servicing should be referred to a qualified technician. • To minimize the possibility of electric shock, disconnect this appliance from the A/C power supply before attempting any maintenance. NOTE: Turning the appliance off does not disconnect the appliance from the power supply. We recommend having a qualified technician service your appliance. 13
