1 Important safety and environmental instructions This section contains safety instructions that will help protect from risk of fire, electric shock, exposure to leak microwave energy, personal injury or property damage. Failure to follow these instructions shall void any warranty. 1.1 General safety •• Do not attempt to start the oven when its door is open; otherwise you may be exposed to harmful microwave energy. Safety locks should not be disabled or tampered with. •• Do not place any object between the front side and the door of the oven. Do not allow dirt or cleaning agent remnants built-up on the closure surfaces. •• Any service works involving removal of the cover that provides protection against exposure to microwave energy must be performed by authorized persons/ service. Any other approach is dangerous. •• Your product is intended for cooking, heating and defrost food at home.
