To share files and access to a hard drive, floppy drive, or CD-ROM with other computers on the network, open the My Computer window on the computer containing the files or drive you wish to share. RIGHT CLICK on the drive that you wish to share, then select Sharing from the menu that appears, and set the level of access that you want to allow. Accessing resources on other computers: 1. To access resources available on other computers click on the Network Neighborhood icon on your desktop. 2. Double click on the computer that you wish to access. 3. Sharing files and disk drives
1. To share files and access to a hard drive, floppy drive, or CD-ROM
with other computers on the network, open the My Computer
window on the computer containing the files or drive you wish to
share. RIGHT CLICK on the drive that you wish to share, then
select Sharing from the menu that appears, and set the level of
access that you want to allow.
Accessing resources on other computers:
1. To access resources available on other computers click on the
Network Neighborhood icon on your desktop.
2. Double click on the computer that you wish to access.
3. You can now access all the files that are available to you on
your network.
