12 >If there are more than 2 registered cordless handsets, the handset numbers which are available for intercom will be displayed. >Press the handset number you wish to call, press 0 to call the corded base, or press to call all handsets. Note: If there is no answer from the called handset or corded base, or you wish to cancel the intercom call before it is answered, press to return to the external call. tPress on the called handset or pick up the corded handset from the corded base to answer the internal call, where both internal callers can talk. tPress on the originating handset to transfer the external call to the called handset or corded base. >The external call is transferred. 9 USING YOUR CORDED BASE 9.1 Set Date & Time using the Corded Base If you subscribe to Caller Display, the time and date settings should be updated automatically from the network when you receive a call. The time and date can also be set from a cordless handset. Using the cordless base, you can set the date in DD/MM format and the time in 24-hours format. tIn standby mode, press and hold D / - -M is displayed. to enter date & time settings. tEnter the current time, followed by the date. If you make a mistake, press to delete the last digit entered. tPress to confirm the date and time settings. >A confirmation tone is played and the corded base returns to standby mode. 9.2 Make a call 9.2.1 Pre-dialling tIn standby mode, enter the phone number (maximum 24 digits). tIf you make a mistake, press to delete the last digit entered. tPick up the corded handset from the base unit or press to dial the number. tWhen you complete the call, return the handset to the corded base unit or press . 9.2.2 Direct dialling tPick up the corded handset from the base unit or press . tListen for the dial tone and then enter the phone number. tWhen you complete the call, return the handset to the corded base unit or press . 9.3 Adjust Earpiece or Speaker Volume There are 5 volume levels. During a call, press + or - to select from L1 to L5. >The current setting is shown. >When you end the call, the setting will remain at the last selected level.

USING YOUR CORDED BASE
9.1
Set Date & Time using the Corded Base
If you subscribe to Caller Display, the time and date settings should be updated automatically from
the network when you receive a call. The time and date can also be set from a cordless handset.
Using the cordless base, you can set the date in DD/MM format and the time in 24-hours format.
In standby mode, press and hold
to enter date & time settings.

Enter the current time, followed by the date. If you make a mistake, press
to delete the last digit

Make a call
9.2.1
Pre-dialling
In standby mode, enter the phone number (maximum 24 digits).
If you make a mistake, press
to delete the last digit entered.
Pick up the corded handset from the base unit or press
to dial the number.
When you complete the call, return the handset to the corded base unit or press
.
9.2.2
Direct dialling
Pick up the corded handset from the base unit or press
.
Listen for the dial tone and then enter the phone number.
When you complete the call, return the handset to the corded base unit or press
.
9.3
Adjust Earpiece or Speaker Volume
