Troubleshooting Vacuum Cleaner Won't Run. Possible Causes 1 Vacuum cleaner is not plugged in 2 Household fuse/circuit breaker Vacuum Cleaner Won't Pick Up Dirt. Possible Causes 1 Powerfoot, Extension Wand or Filters are blocked or clogged 2 Vacuum Bag is full. 3 Brush is jammed 4 Brush bristles are worn 5 Rotating Brush Belt loose or broken Cord Does Not Rewind Fully.
