Battery Removal Before attempting to disassemble this tool, turn it on and run it in either direction until it stops to ensure a complete discharge of the batteries. Using a phillips screwdriver, remove the screws from the product housing and take the two body halves apart. Lift the batteries out and pull off the terminal clips.
