Drainage into a wash basin CAUTION The plug must not block the drain of the wash basin. q Secure the water drainage hose so that it does not slide out. q When the water is being drained, check whether the water flow is fast enough. Electrical connection GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS This appliance must be grounded. In the event of malfunction or breakdown, grounding will reduce the risk of electrical shock by providing a path of least resistance for the electric current. This apĆ pliance is equipped with a cord having an equipĆ mentĆgrounding conductor and a grounding plug. The plug must be plugged into an appropriate outĆ let that is properly installed and grounded in accorĆ dance with all local codes and ordinances. d WARNING d Improper connection of the equipmentĆgroundĆ ing conductor can result in the risk of electric shock. Check with a qualified electrician or serviĆ ceman if you are in doubt as to whether the washing machine is properly grounded.
