CHAPTER 10 PRINTING FROM MACINTOSH Printer Driver Selection After installing the printer driver, use the following steps to select the printer driver. If no printer driver is selection, application software will not be able to print. 1. Turn the power of the printer ON. 2. After starting up the Macintosh, click and open the Chooser from the Apple menu. 3. Click the printer driver icon appropriate to the connection type. For AppleTalk MFL Pro (AT) 4. Select the printer connection destination. For AppleTalk connections, the printer's AppleTalk service name (factory shipment number BRN_XXXXXX_P1, XXXXXX for Ethernet (MAC address) end 6 digits) will be shown in the connection destination list box. Printing the configuration page will allow you to confirm the MAC address. Please refer to the Quick Network Setup Guide on how to print the configuration page. 5. Click the close box on the upper left of the dialog to end the setting. 10-2

Printer Driver Selection
After installing the printer driver, use the following steps to select the printer
driver. If no printer driver is selection, application software will not be able to
print.
1.
Turn the power of the printer ON.
2.
After starting up the Macintosh, click and open the Chooser from the
Apple menu.
3.
Click the printer driver icon appropriate to the connection type.
For AppleTalk
MFL Pro (AT)

Select the printer connection destination.
For AppleTalk connections, the printer's AppleTalk service name (factory
shipment number BRN_XXXXXX_P1, XXXXXX for Ethernet (MAC address)
end 6 digits) will be shown in the connection destination list box.
Printing the configuration page will allow you to confirm the MAC address.

page.

Click the close box on the upper left of the dialog to end the setting.
