CHAPTER 3 CONTROL PANEL CHAPTER 3 CONTROL PANEL LAMPS This section refers to the following lamps on the printer control panel. Fig. 3-1 Lamps on Control Panel  Note When the power cord is not plugged into the AC outlet or the printer is in sleep mode, all lamps including the READY lamp are off. READY Lamp The green READY lamp indicates the current status of the printer. The printer will wake up automatically from sleep mode data is received or a switch is pressed when the power cord is plugged in. Lamp Off r Blinking r£q Blinking r£q On q Printer status The power cord is not plugged into the AC outlet. The printer is in the sleep mode. The printer is warming up. (Blinking at 0.5 seconds) The printer is off-line. (Blinking at 1 seconds) The printer is on-line. 3-1

This section refers to the following lamps on the printer control panel.

Note
When the power cord is not plugged into the AC outlet or the printer is in
sleep mode, all lamps including the READY lamp are off.
