Troubleshooting Error messages when you use the Scan to Network feature Error Message Cause Action Server Time out Wrong Host Address  If you have used your CIFS server's IP address as the Host Address, confirm the IP address.  If you have specified the DNS style as the Host Address, confirm the Host Address. For your DNS style address, contact your network administrator.  If you have used your computer name as the Host Address, confirm the computer name.
