8 Network printing from a Macintosh 8 Overview 8 This chapter explains how to print from a Macintosh on a Network using the Simple Network Configuration capabilities on Mac OS X 10.4.11 - 10.6.x. For updated information on printing from a Macintosh, visit the Brother Solutions Center at: http://solutions.brother.com/ How to choose the print server (TCP/IP) 8 For Mac OS X 10.4.11 a Turn on the machine by plugging in the power cord. b From the Go menu, choose Applications. c Open the Utilities folder. d Double-click the Printer Setup Utility Icon. e Click Add. f Choose Brother MFC-XXXX (XXXX is your model name), and then click Add. 8 8 g Click the printer, then click Make Default to set the printer as the default printer.
