Chapter 7 OTHER FUNCTIONS PROM Exchange Procedures PROM in the programmer can be upgraded. Refer to the Instruction Manual of the machine for how to exchange PROM of the machine. (CAUTION) When PROM of the programmer is exchanged, PROM of the machine should be changed to the identical version to the programmer. If either one of PROMs is changed, an error will occur because of inconsistency of the version. 1. Shut off the power to the machine. 1405Q 2. Press the [P] key to end the programmer. 3. Disconnect the machine from the programmer. 2377Q 4. Loosen and dismount (4) screws on the back of the programmer with a screwdriver and put the cover off. Screws 1504Q E-52 PD-9810
