Various Shooting Methods 97 Switching between Focusing Modes See Functions Available in Each Shooting Mode (p. 238). The AF frame indicates the area of the composition on which the camera focuses. You can set the AF frame in the following ways. You can have the camera automatically detect the Face position of a face and use this data to set the focus Detect and exposure* while shooting. * Only in evaluative metering mode (p. 48). The camera detects the subject and highlights the (No frame) AiAF AF frames, from 9 available points, that it will use to determine the focus. The camera focuses using the center AF frame. Center This is convenient for making sure the focus is exactly where you want it. You can change the size of the AF frame (p. 99). 1 Select [AF Frame]. 1. Press the button. 2.
