I Note: Turn power switch off. 1. Lift up the paper arm. (Figure 0). • When inserting the paper, cut the edge of the paper as shown. 2. Place the new paper roll on the arm. The edge of the paper should be positioned as shown. (Figure 0). • Suitable paper roll - Width: 57mm (2-1/4") Diameter: 86mm (3-3/8") 3. Insert the edge of the paper firmly into the slot behind the arrow. (Figure 0). 4. Turn the power switch on. Press the paper feed PrEnt7 key to advance the paper as shown. (Figure 0). • If the paper roll is jammed and "E" (Error; overflow) sign appears on the display, press c key or turn the power switch off and on again. • Please be sure not to pull the jammed roll paper forcibly. TEST TEST PRINT KEY: The print quality can be checked by pressing TEST key. The following type of printout is obtained• AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA • Extremely low temperatures or low humidity may result in defective printing. Should this occur, press the TEST key several times to obtain normal printing. PRINT/ PRINT CHARACTER SIZE SELECTION SWITCH PRINT OFF OFFL L PRINT S PRINT : Entries and result will appear on the display but will not be printed out. 3
