Focusing Using Face Detection Live Mode 1D X 1D C 5D Mk III 6D 1 Select [Face Detection Live mode] from the list box.  When a face is detected, an AF point appears.  When there is a face other than the face detected in the scene, a new AF point appears if you move the cursor to the position of the other face. The AF point is selected by clicking that position.  You can switch between showing and hiding the AF point by clicking the [ ] button. 2 Click the [ON] button. Focusing Using Face Detection Live Mode

Select [Face Detection Live mode] from the list box.
When a face is detected, an AF point appears.
When there is a face other than the face detected in the scene, a
new AF point appears if you move the cursor to the position of
the other face. The AF point is selected by clicking that position.
You can switch between showing and hiding the AF point by
clicking the [
] button.

Click the [ON] button.
AF is executed.
When focus is achieved, the camera makes a beeping sound
and the AF point turns green.
If focus is not achieved, the AF point turns red.
If the camera cannot detect a face, the AF point is fixed to the
