Downloading and Saving Images The procedure below describes how to download and save images from a CF card loaded in the camera or in a card reader. 1 Display the images. ● To display the images on the camera, click the [CANON CAMERA] button. ● When you click the [CANON CAMERA] button, the [Communication Settings] dialog box may appear. Select [IEEE1394Port] from the [Port] list box, and select [EOS-1D] from the [Detected Camera] list box, then click the [Set] button. \ In the Camera window, the images on the camera are displayed as thumbnails (reduced images). ● To display the images from a card reader, double-click the [DCIM] folder in the Explorer View Section. \ The images from the CF card will be displayed as thumbnails in the Camera window. 2 Create a new folder in which to save the images stored on the camera. ● In the Explorer View Section, choose the location where you want to create the new folder and then select [New Folder] in the [File] menu. \ A new folder is created. 7-5 Working with Images in ImageBrowser

Downloading and Saving Images
The procedure below describes how to download and save images from a CF card loaded in
the camera or in a card reader.

Display the images.
●
To display the images on the
camera, click the [CANON
CAMERA] button.
●
When you click the [CANON
CAMERA] button, the
[Communication Settings] dialog
box may appear. Select
[IEEE1394Port] from the [Port] list
box, and select [EOS-1D] from the
[Detected Camera] list box, then
click the [Set] button.

In the Camera window, the images
on the camera are displayed as

To display the images from a card
reader, double-click the [DCIM]
folder in the Explorer View
Section.

The images from the CF card will

Camera window.

Create a new folder in which to save the images stored on the
camera.

In the Explorer View Section,
choose the location where you
want to create the new folder and
then select [New Folder] in the
[File] menu.
