Remove the Shipping Materials 1 2 Insert your hands into the holes of foam packaging, then take the machine out from the box. Assemble the Machine 1 Remove all the shipping tape from the exterior of the machine. NOTE Place the machine on a flat surface. 2 Insert the tabs of document output tray into the slots. 5 Attach the extension cover. 6 Insert the cassette. 3 Insert the output tray. NOTE Do not remove the USB label on the back of the machine at this stage. 3 4 Pull out the cassette. Attach the cassette extension to the cassette. 4

Remove the Shipping Materials

Insert your hands into the holes of
foam
packaging, then take the machine out from the box.

Remove all the shipping tape from the exterior of
the machine.
NOTE
Place the machine on a flat surface.
NOTE
Do not remove the USB label on the back of the machine
at this stage.
Assemble the Machine

Insert the tabs of document output tray into the
slots.

Attach the extension cover.

Pull out the cassette.

Attach the cassette extension to the cassette.

Insert the cassette.

Insert the output tray.
