USB The Universal Serial Bus (USB) connects peripherals such as the keyboard, mouse and printer to the computer with a USB cable. The port to which the USB cable is connected is called the USB port. W WAB contact Information about an individual in a Windows Address Book. One WAB contact is created for an individual. The data about several WAB contacts can be collected together into one set of data to create a WAB group. WIA (Windows Image Acquisition) Standard for downloading images from scanners or digital cameras. The printer includes a TWAIN-compliant driver (ScanGear MP) and a WIA-compliant driver. The WIAdriver can only be used with Windows XP. With either driver, you can scan documents with the printer in applications which support the TWAIN interface (Photoshop etc.).
