Notes: • Depending on the image you are recording, sometimes there will be no E difference in image quality between settings. • Images are compressed and recorded in the JPEG (Joint Photographic Experts Group) format. • The number of images that can still be recorded on a memory card may sometimes decrease by 2 images at once. • Refer to p. 149 for the memory card displays. Selecting the recording image resolution Select the image resolution of still images to be recorded. + CARD CAMERA ( 37) CARD SET UP IMAGE RES.••1280× 960 To change the image resolution to 640 × 480, open the menu and select CARD SET UP. Then select IMAGE RES., set it to 640 × 480 and close the menu. Notes: • The number of pixels is 640 × 480 and 1280 × 960 in both STANDARD and FINE. Using a Memory Card
Notes:
Depending on the image you are recording, sometimes there will be no
difference in image quality between settings.

Selecting the recording image resolution
Select the image resolution of still images to be recorded.

CARD SET UP. Then select IMAGE RES., set it to 640

close the menu.
