Fading In and Out Between Scenes Use the digital fader functions to start or end a scene with a fade to or from E black. Vertical Wipe When you start recording the picture appears from the right hand side of the screen and expands sideways until it fills the whole screen. When you end a scene, the image is wiped back off. Window Wipe When you start recording, the image begins as a square dot in the middle of the screen which gradually expands to fill the screen. When you end a scene, the image wiped from all 4 sides simultaneously. Fade Trigger When you start recording, the scene gradually fades in from a black screen. When you stop recording, it gradually fades out. Mosaic Fade This blurs the image by enlarging the size of some pixels. the image appears as increasingly large squares of color, as it fades out. 40 Using the Full Range of Features

Mosaic Fade
Use the digital fader functions to start or end a scene with a fade to or from
black.
When you start recording, the image
begins as a square dot in the middle of
the screen which gradually expands to
fill the screen. When you end a scene,
