See the Camera User Guide for information about the camera's [Communication] settings. 2 Attach the supplied USB cable to the computer's USB port and the camera's Digital terminal as shown below. USB Port DIGITAL • A/V OUT Terminal 1. Slip a fingernail under the terminal cover and lift to open. USB Cable USB Cable 2. Insert the connector with the symbols on the camera and cable aligned. 3 Set the mode switch to the replay mode and turn the camera's power on. This will prepare the camera to exchange data with the computer. How to Connect the Camera to a Computer and Prepare to Transfer Data

Confirm that the camera’s [Communication] setting is set to
[Normal].

Attach the supplied USB cable to the computer’s USB port and the
camera’s Digital terminal as shown below.

Set the mode switch to the replay mode and turn the camera’s
power on. This will prepare the camera to exchange data with the
computer.
