Recording Audio Microphone Attenuator (Built-in Microphone or MIC Terminal) If the audio level is too high and the audio sounds distorted while recording with the built-in microphone or external microphone (MIC terminal), activate the microphone attenuator (20 dB) for the respective microphone. 1 Select [Built-in Mic Att.] or [MIC Att.]. > [C ! Audio Setup] > [Built-in Mic Att.] or [MIC Att.] 2 Select the desired option and then select [X]. 75 Options [2 Automatic]: [i On]: [j Off]: The camcorder will automatically activate the microphone attenuator as necessary for optimal audio recording levels so high audio levels will not be distorted.
