1.2 Product Functions ScanFront 400 CAC/PIV is designed to provide enhanced user functions in addition to the device's standard functions. The additional user functions, provided by the ScanFront 400 CAC/PIV solution, are outlined below. For more information, see the ScanFront 400 CAC/PIV V1.2 Configuration Guide. User Functions • Authenticate to a Windows domain using a PIV or CAC card at the machine. • Retrieve a Digital Certificate. • Digitally sign an e-mail message sent from the machine that includes the scanned job. • Encrypt an e-mail message sent from the machine that includes the scanned job. • Digitally sign and encrypt an e-mail message sent from the machine that includes the scanned job. • Use your credentials to scan to a shared folder. • Retrieve your Home folder settings from AD to scan to your Home folder from the ScanFront 400 CAC/PIV device. • Log off and end your session when a CAC or PIV card is removed • Retrieve the device's name, IP and MAC addresses from the [About] button • Scan to SMBv2 and SMBv3 shared and home folders. 14 ScanFront 400 CAC/PIV V1.2 User's Guide

User Functions
