International ENERGY STAR Program As an ENERGY STAR® Partner, Canon USA, Inc. has determined that this machine meets the international ENERGY STAR Program for energy efficiency. The International ENERGY STAR Office Equipment Program is an international program that promotes energy saving through the use of computers and other office equipment. The program backs the development and dissemination of products with functions that effectively reduce energy consumption. It is an open system in which business proprietors can participate voluntarily. The targeted products are office equipment, such as computers, displays, printers, facsimiles, and copiers. The standards and logos are uniform among participating nations. IPv6 Ready Logo The protocol stack included in this machine has obtained the IPv6 Ready Logo Phase-2 established by the IPv6 Forum. Information Security Standard (IEEE 2600) This machine is compliant with IEEE Std 2600™ - 2008 (hereinafter referred to as IEEE 2600), a global information security standard for multifunction peripherals and printers, and is able to achieve the security requirements defined in IEEE 2600.* For information on how this machine meets the security requirements defined in IEEE 2600, see e-Manual > Security > IEEE 2600 Security Standard. * IEEE 2600.1 CC Authentication has not been obtained for this machine by itself.
