show archive status Chapter 2 Catalyst 3560 Switch Cisco IOS Commands show archive status Use the show archive status privileged EXEC command to display the status of a new image being downloaded to a switch with the HTTP or the TFTP protocol. show archive status [ | {begin | exclude | include} expression] Syntax Description | begin | exclude | include expression (Optional) Display begins with the line that matches the expression. (Optional) Display excludes lines that match the expression. (Optional) Display includes lines that match the specified expression. Expression in the output to use as a reference point. Usage Guidelines If you use the archive download-sw privileged EXEC command to download an image to a TFTP server, the output of the archive download-sw command shows the status of the download. If you do not have a TFTP server, you can use Network Assistant or the embedded device manager to download the image by using HTTP. The show archive status command shows the progress of the download. Expressions are case sensitive. For example, if you enter | exclude output, the lines that contain output are not displayed, but the lines that contain Output are displayed.
