I. Plug in the AC power plug. 2. Set the function switch to CD position. 3. Press POWER button to turn on the unit. 4. Open the CD cover by press CD cover button. 5. Insert a CD disc in the CD compartment with the label side facing upward. 6. Close the CD cover by gently pressing CD cover securely till it clicks. 7.ADJUSTING THE SOUND • Press the volume +/- buttons to set the sound level. " • For increased bass at all volume levels, switch the BASS SWITCH on to boost the low frequency sound. 8. Press PLAY/PAUSE button ~lIto start playing from the first Track. • Press ~II during playback to pause temporarily. • Press ~II again to resume playback from the point playback is interrupted. 9. Press and release the SKIP button I+l or~ to search backward or forward to the desired track. 10 .Press and hold the SKIP buttonjee or~ to search backward Or forward to the desired point of the playback or track. II. Press the STOP button. to stop playing, 12. In STOP mode, press PROGRAM button PROG to start the memory function. Press I+l or ~ to select the desired track numbers, press PROG again to store the desired tracks. Repeat this operation to memorize up to a total of20 tracks. Pressj-Il to start playing the tracks in the order programmed. To cancel memorized tracks, press. and open the CD cover by press CD cover button. 13. Press REPEAT/RANDOM button to repeat function. Press REPEAT /RANDOM button once to repeat the same track only, and the "REPEAT" display will light up and flash. Press the REPEAT/RANDOM button twice to repeat all, and the "REPEAT" display will light up and not flash. To cancel repeat play, press the REPEAT /RANDOM button twice until the repeat indicator disappeared. 14. Press REPEAT/RANDOM button to select random mode until " RANDOM appear. All the tracks on the loaded CD will be played in random order. Playback will stop automatically when all tracks have been played.
