English Operating the Recorder Making a Recording The recorder has four File Folders (A, B, C, D) in which recordings may be stored. A total of 99 recordings may be stored in each folder. A total of 396 recordings may be stored on the recorder. If there is no space left on the unit, the LCD will display "FULL". Delete some recordings or move them to your PC in order to continue recording. To make a recording: 1. Place the recorder in Standby mode. The LCD should display the current File Folder location (A, B, C, or D) as well as the File Number. See the "Getting Started" section for details. 2. Press to change or select a File Location (A, B, C, or D). 3. Press to start recording. The Record Indicator LED will light red. During recording: Speak into the integrated microphone located at the top of the recorder. If you have connected an external microphone (optional) to the Microphone In jack located at the top of the recorder, the integrated microphone will be disabled. Page 12 Coby Electronics Corporation
