Hardware Options Installation 3-39 Replacing the Server Feature Board Battery To replace the Server Feature Board battery: NOTE: It may be necessary to remove the Server Feature Board from the unit to replace the battery. 1. Remove the access panel by following the steps in the section applicable to your tower or rack server earlier in this chapter. 2. Slide the battery out of the holder. Figure 3-37. Removing the battery from the Server Feature Board 3. Slide the replacement battery into the proper position. IMPORTANT: Positive polarity (+) must be positioned facing out. 4. Replace the access panel and connect cables to the server. 5. Run RBSU to reconfigure your system after restarting by pressing the F9 key when prompted in the lower right corner of the screen.

Replacing the Server Feature Board Battery
To replace the Server Feature Board battery:
NOTE:
It may be necessary to remove the Server Feature Board from the unit to replace
the battery.
1. Remove the access panel by following the steps in the section applicable
to your tower or rack server earlier in this chapter.
2. Slide the battery out of the holder.

3. Slide the replacement battery into the proper position.
IMPORTANT:

4. Replace the access panel and connect cables to the server.
5. Run RBSU to reconfigure your system after restarting by pressing the
