Prepare the computer for disassembly. 2. Remove the palmrest cover with touchpad. 3. Remove the keyboard. 4. Remove the status panel. 5. Remove the heatspreader. 6. Remove the Network Interface Card. 7. Remove three screws from the modem board, lift the modem board off the connector on the system board, and disconnect the modem cable from the modem board. To replace the modem board, reverse the previous procedures. Return to Removal & Replacement Procedures
