3.26. IGMPSetting Chapter 3. Configuration Reference 3.26. IGMPSetting Description IGMP parameters can be tuned for one, or a group of interfaces in order to match the characteristics of a network. (Identifier) The interfaces that these settings should apply to. IGMP is robust to (Robustness Variable - 1) packet losses. (Default: 2) Maximum number of IGMP requests to process each second and interface. (Default: 100) Multiple IGMP querying routers on a network must use the same IGMP version. (Default: IGMPv3) The lowest IGMP version to allow on incoming requests. (Default: IGMPv1) The interval between general queries sent by the security gateway. (Default: 125000) The maximum time until a host (client) has to send an answer to a query. (Default: 10000) The maximum time until a host (client) has to send an answer to a group and group-and-source specific query. (Default: 10000) The number of group and group-and-source specific queries sent until the security gateway decides there are no more subscribers to a specific multicast group. (Default: 2) The general query interval to use during the startup phase. (Default: 30000) The number of startup queries to send during the startup phase. (Default: 2) The time between repetitions of a host's initial membership reports to a group. (Default: 1000) Should the system respond to Member Report Queries orginating from itself.
