OPERATION (cont'd) AUTO-TIMER The AUTO-TIMER feature offers a unique selection of multiple choice, fully automatic on and/or off (start/stop) programs between 1-24 hrshrsunder any one mode of your Home Comfort unit The programs arc as follows. a) Auto-Off: Pre-select a time that will turn off the unit automatically (between 1-24 hrs). b) Auto-On: Pre-select a time that will turn on the unit automatically (tsetween 1-24 hrs). Note: These functions must be performed daily, as the program is automatically canceled/erased after the program has ended. [ TIMER SETTING CONTROL Press the Timer button on the remote metro] to set the timer. The "ON" or "OFF" logos (depending on timer mode "A" or "B" below) will appear is the display panel, the clock symbol will flash for approximately 10 second% and the display panel will show the time of 8 hrs. While the clock symbol is flashing, press the + UP and - DOWN buttons on the remote control to select the time (in hours, between 00 and 24) for either of the timer modes "A" or "B" as detailed below. The time selected will be shown on the display panel and after arrosimarely 10 seconds the clock symbol will remain illuminated together with either the "OFF' logo. Timer mode A) Auto Off: With the machine on and running, set the timer to select the number of hours you would like the unit to rim until it automatically shuts off. The set time will be shown in the display together with the clock symbol and "OFF" logo. Timer mode B) Auto On: Switch the machine on using the ON/OFF button (either on the machine itself or on the button remotetocopnuttrtohle) smoatchhaitnteheinmstaacnhdin-beyismroudnen.inSgetatnhdetthime derestioresdelmecotdtheeisnsuemlebceterdo.fPhroeussrsthuentOilNaEiOsFF ' for the machine to start up automatically. TIMER CANCEL CONTROL If the time has been set as in either "A" or "B" above, and it is then cbcickd that the imer is not recoiled, pressing the CANCEL button will turn the timer off Protect the remote control from high temperatures, and keep it away from radiation exposure. Keep the control panel :vetiver out of direct sunlight. If the rote control will not be used for extended periods of time (vacations etc.), bateries should be removed. Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mix alkaline,staidard (carbon-tint), or rechargeable (ni-cad,ni.mh,etc) batteries. This Class B digital apparatus complies with canadian ICES-003. The rote operates within a range of g meters (26 ft.) from the receiver located inside the main unit Any obstruction between the receiver and remote may cause signal interference, limitng the ability to program the main unit.
