2 1 1 graphics-card assembly 2 screws (2) Replacing the Graphics-Card Assembly 1 Follow the instructions in "Before You Begin" on page 9. 2 Insert the graphics card connector at a 45-degree angle into the connector on the system board. 3 Press the other end of the graphics-card assembly down into the slot on the system board and replace the two screws that secure the graphics-card assembly to the system board. 4 Replace the graphics-card heat sink fan (see "Replacing the Graphics-Card Heat Sink Fan" on page 32). 5 Replace the compartment door (see "Replacing the Compartment Door" on page 16). 6 Replace the battery pack (see "Replacing the Battery Pack" on page 14). CAUTION: Before turning on the computer, replace all screws and ensure that no stray screws remain inside the computer. Replacing the Graphics-Card Assembly

Follow the instructions in "Before You Begin" on page 9.

Insert the graphics card connector at a 45-degree angle into the connector
on the system board.

Press the other end of the graphics-card assembly down into the slot on the
system board and replace the two screws that secure the graphics-card
assembly to the system board.

Replace the graphics-card heat sink fan (see "Replacing the Graphics-Card
Heat Sink Fan" on page 32).

Replace the compartment door (see "Replacing the Compartment Door"
on page 16).

Replace the battery pack (see "Replacing the Battery Pack" on page 14).
