32 Replacing the Power Button Board WARNING: Before working inside your computer, read the safety information that shipped with your computer and follow the steps in "Before You Begin" on page 9. Procedure 1 Align the slots on the power button board with the alignment posts on the chassis and secure the power button board in place. 2 Replace the screws that secure the power button board to the palm rest assembly. 3 Connect the power button board cable to the connector on the system board. Postrequsites 1 Replace the keyboard. See "Replacing the Keyboard" on page 48. 2 Replace the center control cover. See "Removing the Center Control Cover" on page 41. 3 Replace the compartment door. See "Replacing the Compartment Door" on page 15. 4 Replace the battery pack.
