Procedure 1 Peel off the tape that secures the power and volume-buttons boardcable to the palm-rest assembly. 2 Disconnect the power and volume-buttons board-cable from the I/O board. 3 Remove the power and volume-buttons board-cable from the routing guides on the palm-rest assembly. 4 Remove the screw that secures the power and volume-buttons board to the palm-rest assembly. 55

Remove the

Procedure

Peel off the tape that secures the power and volume-buttons board-
cable to the palm-rest assembly.

Disconnect the power and volume-buttons board-cable from the I/O
board.

Remove the power and volume-buttons board-cable from the routing
guides on the palm-rest assembly.
4
Remove the screw that secures the power and volume-buttons board to
the palm-rest assembly.
