Procedure 1 Place the keyboard on the palm-rest assembly. 2 Align the screw holes on the keyboard with the screw holes on the palm- rest assembly. 3 Slide the keyboard cable and the keyboard-backlight cable (optional) into the respective connectors and close the latches to secure the cables. 4 Replace the screws that secure the keyboard to the palm-rest assembly. 5 Align the screw holes on the keyboard shield with the screw holes on the palm-rest assembly. 6 Replace the screws that secure the keyboard shield to the palm-rest assembly. Procedure
1
Place the keyboard on the palm-rest assembly.
2
Align the screw holes on the keyboard with the screw holes on the palm-
rest assembly.
3
Slide the keyboard cable and the keyboard-backlight cable (optional) into
the respective connectors and close the latches to secure the cables.
4
Replace the screws that secure the keyboard to the palm-rest assembly.
5
Align the screw holes on the keyboard shield with the screw holes on the
palm-rest assembly.
6
Replace the screws that secure the keyboard shield to the palm-rest
assembly.
