NOTICE: To avoid electrostatic discharge, ground yourself by using a wrist grounding strap or by periodically touching an unpainted metal surface, such as the back panel on the computer. 1. Follow the instructions in Before You Begin. 2. Remove the system board (see Removing the System Board). 3. Disconnect the speaker cable from the system board. 4. Remove the speaker cable from the cable guide on the base of the computer. 5. Remove the M2.5 x 5-mm screw securing each of the two speakers to the base of the computer. 6. Removing the Speakers
1.
Follow the instructions in
Before You Begin
.
2.
Remove the system board (see
Removing the System Board
).
3.
Disconnect the speaker cable from the system board.
4.
Remove the speaker cable from the cable guide on the base of the computer.
5.
Remove the M2.5 x 5-mm screw securing each of the two speakers to the base of the computer.
6.
Lift the speakers straight up and out of the computer.
