Prerequisites

Remove the base cover. See "Removing the Base Cover" on page 10.

Remove the battery. See "Removing the Battery" on page 12.
Procedure
1
Remove the screws that secure the hard-drive assembly to the bottom cover.
2
Using the pull-tab, carefully lift the hard-drive assembly and then disconnect the
hard-drive cable.
