Procedure 1 Align and snap the optical-drive bezel to the optical drive. 2 Align the screw holes on the optical-drive bracket with the screw holes on the optical drive. 3 Replace the screws that secure the optical-drive bracket to the optical drive. 4 Slide the optical-drive module into the optical-drive bay through the front of the chassis. 5 Replace the screw that secures the optical-drive module to the chassis. 6 Open the side-chassis. 7 Connect the optical-drive cable and the power cable to the optical drive. 8 Connect the hard-drive cable and the power cable to the hard drive. 9 Close the side-chassis. Post-requisites 1 Replace the front bezel. 2 Replace the computer cover. 41

Procedure
1
Align and snap the optical-drive bezel to the optical drive.

Align the screw holes on the optical-drive bracket with the screw holes
on the optical drive.
3
Replace the screws that secure the optical-drive bracket to the optical
drive.
4
Slide the optical-drive module into the optical-drive bay through the
front of the chassis.

Replace the screw that secures the optical-drive module to the chassis.
6
Open the side-chassis.
7
Connect the optical-drive cable and the power cable to the optical drive.
8
Connect the hard-drive cable and the power cable to the hard drive.
9
Close the side-chassis.
