Option Intel SpeedStep C States Control Intel TurboBoost Hyper-Thread Control Rapid Start Technology Description Default Setting: All Allows you to enable or disable the Intel SpeedStep feature. Default Setting: Enable Intel SpeedStep Allows you to enable or disable the additional processor sleep states. Default Setting: The option C states is enabled. Allows you to enable or disable the Intel TurboBoost mode of the processor. Default Setting: Enable Intel TurboBoost Allows you to enable or disable the HyperThreading in the processor. Default Setting: Enabled This option might improve the battery life by automatically putting the computer in to a low power state during Sleep, after a user-specified amount of time. Default Setting: Disabled Table 8. Power Management Option AC Behavior Description Allows you to enable or disable the computer from turning on automatically when an AC adapter is connected. Default Setting: Wake on AC is not selected. Auto On Time Allows you to set the time at which the computer must turn on automatically. The options are: • Disabled (default) • Every Day • Weekdays • Select Days USB Wake Support Allows you to enable USB devices to wake the system from Standby. NOTE: This feature is only functional when the AC power adapter is connected.
