Removing the Optical Drive To remove the optical drive: 1 Remove the screw that secures the optical drive to the media base. 2 Use your screwdriver to slide the drive out of the media bay. Removing the Optical Drive
To remove the optical drive:

Remove the screw that secures the optical drive to the media base.

Use your screwdriver to slide the drive out of the media bay.
Installing the Optical Drive
