Table 3. System Configuration Option Integrated NIC Serial Port SATA Operation Drives Description Allows you to enable or disable the integrated network card. You can set the integrated NIC to: • Enable UEFI Network Stack (disable by default) • Disabled • Enabled • Enabled w/PXE default value • Enabled w/Cloud Desktop NOTE: Depending on the computer and the devices installed, the items listed in this section may or may not appear. Allows you to define the serial port settings. You can set the serial port to: • Disabled • COM1 • COM2 • COM3 • COM4 NOTE: The operating system may allocate resources even though the setting is disabled. Allows you to configure the operating mode of the integrated hard drive controller. • Disabled - The SATA controllers are hidden. • ATA - SATA is configured for ATA mode. • AHCI - SATA is configured for AHCI mode. • RAID ON - SATA is configured to support RAID mode. Allows you to enable or disable the various on-board drives: For Mini Tower • SATA-0 • SATA-1 • SATA-2 • SATA-3 For Small Form Factor • SATA-0 • SATA-1 • SATA-2 For Ultra Small Form Factor • M-SATA • SATA 0 • SATA 1 33
