CLI Command interface ethernet interface description string shutdown set interface active {ethernet interface | port-channel portchannel-number} speed {10 | 100 | 1000} duplex {half | full} negotiation back-pressure flowcontrol {auto | on | off | rx | tx} mdix {on | auto} show interfaces configuration [ethernet interface | portchannel port-channelnumber] show interfaces status [ethernet interface | port-channel portchannel-number] Description Enters the interface configuration mode to configure an ethernet type interface. Adds a description to an interface configuration. Disables interfaces that are part of the currently set context. Reactivates an interface that is shut down due to security reasons. Configures the speed of a given ethernet interface when not using auto negotiation. Configures the full/half duplex operation of a given ethernet interface when not using auto negotiation. Enables auto negotiation operation for the speed and duplex parameters of a given interface. Enables Back Pressure on a given interface. Configures the Flow Control on a given interface. Enables automatic crossover on a given interface or Port-channel. Displays the configuration for all configured interfaces.
